About the Author

Debora M. Floyd is a seasoned Behavioral Health Consultant, working in busy Emergency Rooms since 1997 in Baltimore, Maryland, and surrounding counties. Debora has been on the front lines, evaluating men, women, boys, girls, and the elderly for mental, suicidal crisis, and substance abuse problems.

Debora holds a B.S. in Psychology, with a minor in Elementary Education, from Chestnut Hill College, Philadelphia, Pa; MA in Rehabilitation/Clinical Psychology from Towson University, Towson, MD; and is a credentialed Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor-Supervisor obtained from Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, MD.
